Criteria for Certification

  • Desire to lead & teach others in Flow.
  • Own and have practiced FlowFit and 6°Flow.
  • Some experience in fitness coaching or personal training is strongly recommended.
  • Experience and interest in Circular Strength Training® (CST) and Prasara Yoga is helpful.

Preparatory Requirements:

  • Purchase FlowFit and 6°Flow (50% discount with your registration for the FlowFit certification course)
  • Practice Flow training as prescribed in the videos and books for a minimum of 1 month (3-4 months preferred).
  • Read and be familiar with Free to Move.
  • We also recommend reading through the Prasara Yoga book, and implementing Intu-Flow and Prasara Yoga exercises as a regular recovery practice prior to the certification.

Before certification you must be able to:

1. Be able to perform 7 continuous minutes of FlowFit at Level 3  with technique of 8 or higher (on scale 1-10):

  • Squat Series
  • Quad Series
  • Swoop Series
  • Climber Series
  • Tripod Series
  • Dog Series
  • Rock Series

2. Perform the 3 beginner level 6°Flow series component exercises with technique of 8 or higher (on scale 1-10):

  • Roll and Sway
  • Pitch and Surge
  • Yaw and Heave

FlowFit Certification Test

Demonstrate proficiency in all component exercises of FlowFit and 6°Flow.

Demonstrate an ability to safely and efficiently coach all component exercises with both groups & individuals.

Test:  Perform 7 minutes of continuous FlowFit Level 3, including no less than 8 full rounds of the circuit. Breath must be at a level of Flow (explained in the 6°Flow manual) so that you have the ability to teach and communicate effectively while demonstrating. You will also be evaluated on your ability to safely instruct both the individual and group by delivering effective coaching cues to address breath, structure, and movement.
